I am currently at UC Davis pursuing my Ph.D in Human Development. In my work, I investigate social and developmental factors and interpersonal characteristics that are associated with developing diverse relationships, particularly cross-ethnic friendships. Further, I am interested in the benefit of having diverse relationships, especially in relation to improving academic outcomes and developing positive social attitudes.

Apart from my school work, I’ve had the pleasure of coaching the JV soccer team at my old high school, Jesuit High School, Sacramento. This has been a terrific opportunity for me to continue to stay connected to and give back to the Jesuit community.
